Breath of the Wild has officially launched for both Wii U and Nintendo Switch. We are working on our guides and walkthrough for the game now as well, since we finally have the game in hand. Amazon Cancelling Some Breath of the Wild Master Edition Preorders

Coming from Reddit and Twitter, Amazon has been cancelling preorders for the Master Edition of Breath of the Wild. We don't know anything other than they have either oversold their allotment or Nintendo decreased it after giving them their initial amounts. Either way, you'll get a $10 gift card for the inconvenience - however unsatifying that may be. We all know these will end up on eBay and the like for triple the price...

DLC Coming to Breath of the Wild Later in 2017

Breath of the Wild is set to recieve some DLC later in 2017 according to a press release sent to us by Nintendo. You will be able to purchase the Expansion Pass for $19.99 when the game launches. This will unlock 3 chests in the game. One will contain a shirt Link can wear that has the Nintendo Switch logo while the other two will grant helpful items.

Breath of the Wild launches for Nintendo Switch and Wii U on March 3rd, 2017. That is just 2 days after a recently announced panel is set to be held at GDC. This panel will feature developers that worked on Breath of the Wild. Nintendo will be showing their first ever Super Bowl ad during Super Bowl LI. It will feature the Nintendo Switch along with Breath of the Wild. Breath of the Wild Will Not Support HD Rumble on Nintendo Switch

Eiji Aonuma was interviewed by Jeuxvideo.com regarding the Breath of the Wild. Aonuma was asked if any DLC was created for the game. His response was the generic "I can not tell you" phrase that we hear often when new games come out. This does not mean DLC is coming to the game. This is something we will find out about later.

Coming from an interview with Gamekult, Eiji Aonuma has confirmed that voice acting will be included in all cutscenes in Breath of the Wild. We already knew the game included voice acting, but this confirms it is for more than just certain parts of the game. Eiji Aonuma was asked:

Breath of the Wild Rendered at 900p on Switch, Wii U Version Requires 3 GB Install

We already found out the digital file size of Breath of the Wild. Now we have confirmation that the Wii U retail version also requires at least 3GB of space for an install that is required to play the game. So either way - you'll have to use up a bit of space if you plan on playing the Wii U version.
