Why Link is Right Handed in Breath of the Wild, Wii U and NX Versions Same Experience

We got a host of new information regarding Breath of the Wild recently. We know you can beat the game without finishing the story. That is interesting in it's own right; however, we also know why Link is right handed. Coming from a recent interview, Eiji Aonuma mentions that Link is right handed because that is the side of the Wii U GamePad that players will use to control the sword.

Players Able to Beat Breath of the Wild Without Finishing the Story

Breath of the Wild was shown off at E3 2016. We got lots of information about the game alongside the new trailer that was shown. Nintendo said the game would break the boundaries for the franchise and games as a whole. In an interview with Polygon, Eiji Aonuma even said we would be able to complete the game without ever finishing the story.

The upcoming Zelda for the Wii and Nintendo NX is now known as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The rumored ability to scale mountains has seemingly been confirmed. Nintendo's Updated E3 2016 Site Shows Their Focus on Zelda Wii U

We learned about Nintendo's Zelda E3 2016 plans a month ago and now they have updated their E3 site, which reconfirmed their focus on Zelda Wii U this E3 in June. It details the schedule, with Treehouse going live at 9 AM PT on June 14th, 2016 and continuing throughout the show.
