Selfies have become as mainstream as the smart phone so there is no wonder they got included in The Wind Waker HD, right? Well, IGN got to ask Eiji Aonuma just that - how did selfies come to be in The Wind Waker HD - and his answer was that "it would be weird to not have that in the game" and that "it's such a normal part of our culture." Be sure to check out the full quotes from Aonuma after the break.
"I think it's just the fact that lots of people take selfies. Even I do it myself sometimes. It's become such a normal thing. It just seemed like it would be weird to not have that in the game, now that it's such a normal part of our culture, and we have this game with a camera in it."
