Home > Comic-Con: A Link Between Worlds Demo Footage
The footage above comes from GameSpot and shows off A Link Between Worlds. The footage is direct feed so provides good quality. The demo being shown off is pretty much the same one we got to play at E3 2013. We have another video you can see after the break along with a break down of any new details from the game.
Nintendo's Bill Trinen explains several aspects from A Link Between Worlds and we have a list that breaks down each of them.
- the overworld is not identical to A Link to the Past's
- hieroglyphic Link looks like the Link from Wind Wakers opening
- runs at 60 FPS
- Link can merge into pretty much any wall
- the dungeon seen in the demo is a new version of the Tower of Hera from A Link to the Past
- The gauge takes away the need to stock up items such as arrows for your bow
- the Merge ability runs on the gauge and Link will pop off the wall if it runs out
