Nintendo - as stated previously - did not show any Zelda Wii U footage in their E3 2015 Digital Event. Miyamoto has since stated they have "some really great Zelda footage" and they will be showing that off at some point, just "not today." This does not mean they will be showing footage at this years E3; however, it is a good signal that we should get more Zelda Wii U news in the coming months. The full quote is below...
We're here to talk about Star Fox but Zelda is still coming to Wii U. My thing with E3 is that we always focus on what's coming out in the immediate future. We have some really great Zelda footage and, at some point we will be showing that off, but not today.
