House of Gales
Once inside the House of Gales – break the pots to the north to reveal a switch. Press it and then use the Tornado Rod near the wind spurts to be blown onto the ledge. Go through the door to the north and then light the two torches at the far north of this room to spawn a chest containing a Red Rupee.
Now activate the switch in the southeast part of the room. Climb back up the stairs to the north and then merge with the wall above the switch to travel across and through the door. In this room use the Tornado Rod to put out the flames on the creatures and then kill them with the sword.
Getting the Compass
This will spawn a chest that contains a small key. Exit the room and head to the southwest corner of the next room where there will be a locked door. Use the small key to unlock the door and enter through it. Merge with the moving platform and pop off once reaching the next ledge. Open the chest for the compass.
Merge with the wall to the north and travel around to the next moving platform. Move to the west side of it and pop off on the next ledge. Travel up the stairs to the south and get on the moving platform – the first one you merged with in the room. Ride it to the next ledge and then get on the next platform. Use it to get to yet the next ledge where there will be a switch.
Press it and then head through the door to the east. Travel around the wire walkway to find another switch – press it and use the Tornado Rod underneath the wind spurt to be blown to another wire walkway. Merge with the wall on the west side of the room and travel across to the ledge north where there is a door. Go through the door fall down to floor covered with rats.
Kill the rats and then go through the door atop of the stairs in the southwest corner of the room. Now merge with the wall to the west and travel across to the south of the room. Pop off near the chest and open it for a Silver Rupee. Merge with the south wall and travel to the east side of the room. Use the Tornado Rod underneath the wind spurt to be blown to the north of the room.
Now go through the door to the east. Travel to the wind spurt and blow across back to the next wire walkway where were we were earlier. Walk across to the east side of the room and merge with the east wall. Travel across to the south and pop off on the next ledge. Hit the switch to the west to create another wind spurt that blows up.
Before using it – travel to the door at the northeast of the room. Hit the switch here to turn off the wind spurts. Open the chest for some monster guts and exit to the previous room. Use the wind spurt on the west side of this room to blow across to the wire walkway. Now travel east and then south on top of the upward blowing wind spurt to be blown to the second floor.
Travel south and use the Tornado Rod to dodge the rolling spike bar. Continue south and in the southwest corner will be a switch underneath some pots. Press it to spawn a small key to the east. Now travel east and go through the door. Head up the stairs to the north and then travel across the wall towards the small key. Pop off and then walk across to get it.
Getting the Big Key
Now go back through the door on the southeast of the room. Go through the door to the south and pull the levers to spawn a big chest that contains the Big Key. Use the Tornado Rod to put out the flame ad head back to the previous room. Go through the door on the west.
Use the small key to unlock the door to the south once going up the stairs. Drop down to the west and pull the lever to the far west to cause the small platform to start moving. Use the Tornado Rod to land on the platform and travel across to the door that is locked.
Merge with the wall to the west of the door and travel west until around the wall of the dungeon until you come to a wire walkway. Pop off and press the switch to reveal a small key. Merge with the wall and travel around to where the key is located. Use the Tornado Rod to put out the flames and get the key. Make your way back to the locked door and use the small key to enter it.
House of Gales Mini-boss
There will be the House of Gales mini-boss in this room. Simply use the Tornado Rod to stun the creatures as well as put out their flames. Once stunned - Link can use the sword to damage them. Repeat that process several times to defeat them and go through the door to the northeast.
Walk down the stairs ahead of you towards the north and go through the door back to the west. Press the second switch to be blown across. Now press the switch to the northwest to reach the next set of switch of which you need to press the north one. Now enter through the door to the east and then take the route to the north. Continue going around until you come across a switch. Press it to turn off the wind spurts in the room.
Drop down from the ledge and merge with the wall you just fell from – travel to the west side of the room and pop off near the stairs. Go up the stairs and go to the east. Take the door to the north that was otherwise inaccessible due to the wind spurts. Travel up the stairs to the north and drop down to the switch. Press the switch to make a platform move across the room.
Use the Tornado Rod to reach the platform and ride it south. Hit the switch to cause the wind spurt blowing up to activate. Ride the platform south and get off at the wire walkway. Drop down onto the upward blowing wind spurt to reach the third floor. Merge with the east wall and travel to the south of the room. Walk up the stairs to the west and go through the door.
Light both of the torches in this room to unlock the door to the west. Go through it and prepare for a battle. Use the Tornado Rod to stun the creatures and kill them with the sword. Travel through the door to the northeast and then merge with the north wall. Travel across to the other side of the room and go through the door. Open the chest atop the stairs to get a small key.
Now travel back south and to the west through the next two door to get to the room where we just spawned the chest – it contains a Purple Rupee. Head to the previous room and through the locked door to the north using the small key. Now get on the moving platform to the north – wait until it moves to the north and then use the Tornado Rod. If done right, Link will now be on the northern platform. Ride it across and use the Big Key to unlock the boss door.
House of Gales Boss: Margomill
To defeat the House of Gales boss - simply use the Tornado Rod when it gets near to stun hit. Now use the sword to attack the eye at the center of the creature. The boss will now grow taller and Link must use the sword on the new growth to break them off. Once knocked back to original size you can use the Tornado Rod once more.
Repeat this several times to defeat the House of Gales boss. Once winning – go grab the Heart Container and the Pendant of Wisdom. Upon warping outside the House of Gales, Sahasrahla with speak with Link telepathically telling you to head to the Lost Woods for the Master Sword.
