Octoball Derby
Location:
Travel to southwest of the Vacant House weather vane to the small grove of trees. Talk with Derby Boy to begin the mini-game. It costs 50 rupees per time.
Strategy:
Octoball Derby can be tricky to an inexperienced user. The trick to is pay attention to the location of the ball in comparison to the dirt circle where Link is standing. Once you are able to memorize where the ball is compared to the dirt and where this in turn makes the ball land - be sure to practice with the stance. The stance can somewhat alter the path of the ball other than up or down. If you push all the way up - Link has a tendency to hit the pitcher with the ball, which cause the pitcher to quickly pitch another. Be sure to hit each of the birds that fly across as they will give Link the most points as well as the golden pots.
Rewards:
Link is given the amount of rupees according to his score in the mini-game. If you are able to score 100 points or higher, the reward will be a Piece of Heart.
Treacherous Tower

Simply kill off each enemy during each round taking as little damage as possible. Blue Potion comes in handy on both the Intermediate and Advanced stages.
