Our Breath of the Wild Runes guide will cover each of the runes in the game. Runes play an important part in Breath of the Wild as they give you abilities you wouldn't otherwise have access. They are located inside Shrines of Trials and you will quickly become familiar with them.
Breath of the Wild Runes
Magnesis Rune
The Magnesis Rune is located in the Oman Au Shrine. It allows you to pick up certain objects and move them around.
Remote Bomb Rune
The Remote Bomb Rune is located in the Ja Baij Shrine. It allows you to use bombs to blow up certains parts of the environment and to damage enemies.
Cryonis Rune
The Cryonis Rune is located in the Keh Namut Shrine. It allows you to raise up pillars of ice within water.
Stasis Rune
The Stasis Rune is located in the Owa Daim Shrine. It allows you to freeze time for certain objects.
