From Lueberry's house, head west back to Suthorn Prarie and then exit the prarie to the southwest. This leads do a desert canyon area. You will be attacked by some Crow enemies when you arrive. Defeat them quick so they don't steal your money. Note that these are different from the Guay birds, so you can learn the new Crow echo when you defeat them.

As soon as you get in the canyon you'll want to get on the top of right canyon wall. You can use a Crawtula echo and bind yourself to it to get up there quickly. Pick up the rock up here to find 1 Might Crystal.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Head to the south and you'll see a chest on top of a tree stump. You can place a trampoline next to the stump to get on the very ledge. If it's easier you can also stack two wooden box echoes in front of the stump to match it's height, and then use the higher cliff behind it and a bed ladder to reach the boxes. Inside the chest you'll find 50 rupees.

In the northwest section of this area you'll see a stump with a rock on top of it. Place a trampoline next to it and lift the rock to find 1 Might Crystal. Continue to the west to find a waypoint just before you enter Gerudo Desert proper and get a nice pan over the region.

Gerudo Desert

In the south near the entrance to the desert you can find some Gerudos talking about the rift in the desert. Throughout the desert are scorpion-like Aruroda enemies. Make sure to defeat one and get the Aruroda echo.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Head to the north and use a Crawtula to get to the top of the high cliffs. There is a cave you can enter where you'll find a stronger Caromadillo enemy. Use a bunch of Sea Urchin echoes to defeat it and you can learn the Caromadillo Lv. 2 echo. In the next room you'll have to defeat two more Lv. 2 Caromadillo to make a chest appear that contains 10 pieces of chilly cactus.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Exit the cave and jump down into the sand to the left. Bind yourself to the buried chest and pull it. Inside you'll find 20 rupees. To the west of this are the desert ruins that have been engulfed in a rift. There's nothing to do here for now, so instead get on the cliff to the west by using some trampolines.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Head south on this central cliff and you'll find a suspicious lone rock. Beneath it is 1 Might Crystal. Continue to the west from these cliffs and you'll find an Oasis and a waypoint you can activate.

Oasis

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Head to the west side of the oasis and speak with the Gerudo named Tormali. She wants to see a tile that can fly through the air and gives you "The Flying Tile" side quest. We'll have to come back later to complete it. You can also open the chest next to her to get 5 pieces of chilly cactus.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Next to her is also a Business Scrub who you can pay to mix your ingredients into smoothies. If this is the first Business Scrub you encounter, you will get the "Recipes, Please!" side quest. You'll need to mix 10 unique recipes for the Business Scrubs to complete it.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Enter the tent here to find the Tough Mango Plant Lab. Inside you can learn the soft-bed echo. You can also play a mango collecting minigame where you harvest mangoes by spinning into them. If you harvest 40 or more in the time limit you'll get a reward of 3 tough mangoes. If you are able to harvest all 50, you'll get 5 tough mangoes as a reward.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

The real prizes come when you play the vibrant seed minigame, unlocked after earning the first prize. If you are able to collect 50 or more mangoes in this version of the game, you'll get a golden fan. This is a quest item that will be needed later. If you are able to get a perfect score and harvest all 60 mangoes, you'll get a reward of 3 Might Crystals.

Lanmola

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Head directly west of the oasis where you'll find a stamp stand. Make sure to get your stamp marked here for the stamp rally. From here head northwest. There is a sandstorm up here, preventing you from using your map while you are in it.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You'll find a few new enemies in the desert. The first is a Tornando which spins around and pushes you or your echoes back. You can use some Sea Urchin echoes to defeat one and learn the Tornando echo. You can also find some Sand Piranhas swimming around and learn the Sand Piranha echo.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Continue northwest and you'll come across a miniboss: the Lanmola. It's a sand worm that fights in a deep pit of sand. There are a couple platforms that you can safely stand on during the fight without sinking.

To defeat the Lanmola you'll need to wait for it to bury itself in the ground until only it's tail is sticking out and then bind yourself to the tail. You can then pull it out and expose its soft underbelly. You can then summon echoes and/or use swordfighter form to deal a lot of damage. There is no echo for defeating it but you will get many rupees and the sandstorm in the area will be cleared.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Even further northwest of the fight you'll find another waypoint to activate. You can then head east to find a cave along the northern cliff. Enter it and defeat the small spider enemies with some Sand Piranhas to learn the Beetle echo. More importantly, you'll notice that the Beetles continuously respawn from some mounds above. You can learn the Beetle-mound echo to instead summon an endless supply of Beetles.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Exit the cave to reach the cliff above and open the chest for 1 Might Crystal. You can then get up on an even higher cliff behind you by binding yourself to a Crawltula echo. Up here you'll find a single rock on a platform that you can lift and find 1 Might Crystal.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Hop off the cliff and just to the southeast you'll find a Boarblin camp. A Peahat echo is useful for taking out all the enemies here. After defeating them you can learn the Club Boarblin echo and the Boomerang Boarblin echo. You can also open the chest to find 7 warm peppers.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Further to the east in the corner of this desert area and you'll see a heart piece on top of a tall pillar. There is quicksand around it, so you won't be able to bind to a Crawltula to climb up. Instead you can place some wooden boxes and wait until they sink a bit to hop on one. Then place another and repeat to climb up to the top. You can then collect Piece of Heart #8, which should give you another heart container.

South Desert

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Return south back to the Oasis. From here you can explore the ruin area directly to the south. In this southeast desert you'll find a buried treasure chest just to the left of a narrow rift. Pull it out of the sand with bind and open it to get 10 chilly cactus.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

In this area you'll also find another new enemy, the ReDead. This is a zombie enemy that will freeze you and any echoes you have with a chilling scream. You'll want to attack from the back if possible and use quick echoes since he'll be screaming to freeze them. It may be easier to just use swordfighter form. After defeating one you can learn the ReDead echo. There's another buried treasure chest in the area that you can bind to and get 20 rupees.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

In the center of one of the ruins you can find a waypoint to activate. To the east of this you'll find the entrance to a cave. Inside you'll find a narrow walkway with wind blowing that will push you off. You'll need to place a heavy echo, like a boulder, in front of the wind source so you can safely cross. On the other side you can learn the Gerudo-pot echo.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You'll then be faced with a wind-cannon pointing directly at you, so instead of blocking the wind you can just build a bridge of beds to cross below it. You can then learn the wind-cannon echo.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You'll want to use this wind-cannon in the next room to blow away all the piles of sand. Under one of them is a switch that lets you get into the room to the right. Inside that room is a treasure chest containing 2 Might Crystals. Enter the final room of the cave and defeat the Tornandos using some Sea Urchine echoes. You can then open the chest to get 3 rocktatoes.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Head east from here and get on top of the cliffs using a Crawltula echo. In the southeast corner you'll see some piles of sand you can blow away with a wind-cannon. This will reveal 1 Might Crystal hiding beneath. You can then head north to find another stamp stand on the same cliff.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You can now head back to the west to investigate the large rift. As you approach it from the south Tri will mention that his friends are nearby, but he can only create a rift entrance below the sand. Head to the left and speak to the Gerudo in front of a cave entrance. She will deny you entry, but afterward someone will cry out for help back to the east.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You'll find a Gerudo who has been attacked by some monsters from the rift. Defeat the remaining monsters with a Peahat or swordfighter form. As it turns out this is Dohna, the captain of the Geurdo warriors. She explains that they had to bury the entrance to the Gerudo Sanctum in sand to protect from the endless supply of monsters. She then suggests that you speak to the chief in Gerudo Town to figure out how to proceed.

Gerudo Town

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Go around the large rift and begin heading northwest. Before entering the town, check out the cliffs to the south. In the southwest corner you'll find a group of large sand piles. Blow them all away to find Piece of Heart #9. Just to the north of this you can find another sand pile that is hiding a chest containing 50 rupees.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You can now head north into Gerudo Town. Make sure to activate the waypoint by the gate on your way in. As soon as you get in you can speak with the Gerudo to the right to get the "Tornado Ghost?" side quest. All you need to do to complete it is show her a Tornando echo. As a reward she'll give you 10 containers of fresh milk.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

There is a shop nearby where you could buy the Gerudo Sandals for 400 rupees, but you may not have enough at this point. You can apseak to another gerudo on the west side of town to get the Elusive Tumbleweeds side quest. You can bring her a tumbleweed by heading south in the desert and binding to one. You'll have to then carefully bring it through Gerudo Town, as touching it against anything will break it. As a reward for she'll give you 2 Might Crystals.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You can then speak to the Gerudo standing on a carpet on the west side of town to play a little minigame as part of the "Gerudo Tag Training" quest. It's a simple game of tag where you'll need to chase her around Gerudo Town and get close enough to tag her. You can place some Sea Urchin obstacles down to limit her path, but just using your spin to move faster and cutting corners should be enough. Once you catch her you'll get a reward of 6 Chilly Cactus.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You can now enter Gerudo Palace on the north side of town through the main entrance. Head up the stairs where you'll meet Chief Seera and her advisor Facette. Unfortunately, the chief does not trust that you are able to fix rifts, even with Dohna vouching for you. This means that we'll need to prove our rift closing abilities. As you leave you'll get a message that Dohna is waiting for you at the Oasis.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Warp back to the Oasis and speak to Dohna. She reaveals that there are three smaller rifts in the desert that Zelda can fix to prove herself. These three rifts are located in the Southern Oasis Ruins, the Ancestor's Cave of Rest, and the Southern Gerudo Desert.

Southern Oasis Ruins Rift

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

First head to the southeast where you'll find two Gerudo warriors who are exhausted after taking out waves of enemies. Another wave of shadow enemies from the rift will spawn and you'll need to defeat them. Using swordfighter form is easiest, since your energy will be replenished by defeating them. The Gerudo warriors will thank you for your efforts, but Tri says he isn't able to find an entrance to this rift.

Ancestor's Cave of Rest Rift

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Warp to the waypoint that is to the northeast of Gerudo Town. If you don't have this waypoint, just head northwest from the Oasis. Enter the cave along the north cliff to find the Ancestor's Cave of Rest. Speak to the Gerudo inside who needs to have the torches in this room lit. The rift blocks the path to get to them, so you'll need to find an alternative.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

On the left side of the room you'll see a large boulder that you can move with bind. This reveals a doorway to the left. In the next room you'll find some mole-like Holmill enemies. The best way to defeat them is to bind to them and pull them out of their holes. You can then learn the Holmill echo. There is another large boulder in this room you can move out of the way to reveal a ladder.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

In the next sublevel you'll see many blocks of sand with open areas below them. The trick here is to use a Holmill echo to burrow a hole in the sand. Do this on the left most side of the first sand block to reach a treasure chest. Open it to get a golden egg. You can then burrow all the way down and take the ladders up to the right to leave the sublevel.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You'll emerge on the other side of the rift. You can then use an Ignizol echo to light the two torches. A Gerudo ancestor spirit will thank you and return you to the other Gerudo here. She'll also thank you for your efforts. Tri once again won't be able to find an entrance to this rift.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

While we are up in this area, there is a small section of the desert west of the cave to explore. In this windy canyon you'll find a large Boarblin camp with three different sections. You'll need to defeat all the Boarblins in each section to make a treasure chest appear in the last section. The first two sections are full of standard Boarblins. There is also a chest with 5 warm peppers along the way.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

In the final section you will face some Lv. 2 Boarblins that are much stronger than the others. They deal multiple hearts of damage, so you'll want to be very careful not to get hit. You may want to drink a tough mango smoothie beforehand to reduce your damage taken. Otherwise you can use a combination of Peahat, Darknut, and swordfighter form to take them out. You can then learn the Boomerang Boarblin Lv. 2 echo and Club Boarblin Lv. 2 echo.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

As a reward for clearing all three sections a chest will unlock that contains the Energy Glove equipment. Wearing these increases the amount of energy dropped from some monsters, letting you use swordfighter form more often. Between the two sections of the canyon is a long wall that you can climb up with some trampolines. You'll notice a single patch of dirt on top of it. You can use a Holmill echo to dig out 1 Might Crystal from it.

Southern Gerudo Desert Rift

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You'll now want to warp to the Gerudo Town waypoint and then head south. You'll run into a group of Gerudo warriors who are exhausted from the heat. Dohna will come and ask you to make a smoothie for them, giving you 2 chilly cactus to do so. Warp back to the oasis and have the Business Scrub mix a Cactus Smoothie for you by mixing two chilly cactuses.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

While we are here, it's a good opportunity to complete the first part of the "Recipes, Please!" quest if you have enough rupees. You can check out our Recipes guide for all the details on crafting 10 unique smoothies. However you can start by just combining each ingredient you've found with itself and then each ingredient with rock salt you should have enough. Once you have made the 10 recipes you'll get the Survey Scope equipment. Afterward the side quest will expand and the Business Scrub will request 20 more recipes.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Once you return to the group and give them the Cactus Smoothie, the warriors will be back on their feet. Unfortunately, Tri will also not being to find an entrance to this rift. After clearing all three of these rift quests, Facette requests to get a status update back at Gerudo Palace.

Stilled Desert Temple Ruins Rift

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Warp back to Gerudo Town and head inside the palace. Dohna is willing to stake her reputation on your rift clearing abilites, so Chief Seera agrees to let Zelda enter the sanctum, even though Facette disagrees. The point is moot for now, however, as the rift in the eastern desert has grown and Seera and her warrios need to focus their attention there.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Warp back to the Oasis and then head northeast to the large rift. All the warriors and leadership are gathered here and arguing about what to do. Tri will be able to create an entrance to the rift. Go ahead and enter it to save the day.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

The goal inside the rift is to find 5 groups of Tri's friends. Cross the first platform and take the ladder down into sublevel. You'll see a spiked platform enemy here called a Platboom. You can only damage these from their narrow sides, but you can move them around with bind to trap them in a small area first. Once you defeat one you can learn the useful Platboom echo.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You can now use your own Platboom to reach the upper level and then head to the left. The only real difference between your Platboom echo and the enemy is that you won't take damage if you are squished by your own echo. On the left side you'll find group of Tri's friends that you can free.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Exit the subelevel and head to the left across a variety of platforms. These will lead you to a tall pillar with another group of Tri's friends on top. It's surrounded by quicksand, so you'll want to place a Platboom next to it to take you up so that you can free Tri's friends.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Backtrack to the large platform and begin heading right. There is a wall of sand that you can carefully climb or just place a Platboom and get straight to the top. To right of this you can build a bed ladder to reach a small platform with a glowing boulder. Move the boulder with bind to find another group of Tri's friends that you can rescue.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Use another bed ladder to get back to the left and begin heading north. There is another sand wall with pillars that you can climb using some trampolines and well timed jumps. Get all the way on top of the wall and then drop down to the left to find another group of Tri's friends to rescue.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Jump down onto the large platform to the left and you'll see that Facette is trapped inside next to the last of Tri's friends. This one is on a tree stump and you can reach it with a trampoline. With all of his friend's found, Tri can now mend the rift. You'll also get 2 Might Crystals as a reward.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Back outside the rift, the real Facette will be freed, revealing the imposter that has been against us. Chief Seera will take care of the fraud and give you her blessing to explore the Gerudo Sanctum and repair the main rift in the area.

Cryptic Cavern

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Warp to the southern most waypoint and head west to the cave entrance. The guard will now let you in to the Cryptic Caven. Inside you'll find a switch to the left that you can activate by tossing a rock at or building a bed ladder to.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

In the next room there are some wind-cannons that will blow you off the ledge if you aren't careful. Take the middle path and block the wind stream with some boulder echoes. Inside the next room you'll find some Pathblade enemies that you can defeat by placing a Sea Urchin echo in their path. You can then learn the Pathblade echo. Hit the switch here to spawn a treasure chest to the right.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

On the right side of the room you'll need to defeat some Gibdo enemies. They are susceptible to fire damage, so an Ignizol will work well. You can then learn the Gibdo echo. Open the chest to find a small key. You can also get 5 rupees under the pile of sand to the left.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Enter the room below and defeat the enemies inside with your Pathblade echoes. You can also blow away all the sand piles with wind-cannons to find some more rupees. Exit to the left and you'll find yourself back in the large wind-cannon room with a locked door to the left. Unlock the door and head down the ladder into a sublevel.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Head to the right and defeat the Pathblades with some Sea Urchins. On the upper path to the left you'll find a pot containing a fairy. Down below you can use a Platboom echo to carry you up through the wind gust and reach a chest containing 20 rupees. Head to the next room to the right.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

In the next section you can blow away the sand piles and defeat the Pathblades. You can then use a Platboom to carry you to the left platform and quickly place a wind-cannon to blow away the sand pile blocking your path. Then place another Platboom to get up to the left.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

To the right you'll find a stronger Gibdo enemy. You can attack it with a Pathblade (you can ride on top) and an Ignizol. Once you burn off it's mummy wrap it will just be a strong ReDead. After defeating it you'll learn the Gibdo Lv. 2 echo.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

Further to the right you'll see a huge pile of sand being suspended by a large stone. Bind to it and pull it back to release the sand which will drain the pit above. Head back to the left and press the switch to open the door for a small shortcut. Then exit the Cryptic Cavern to the south.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Walkthrough Gerudo Desert

You can now enter the Gerudo Sanctum rift and dungeon, which we will cover in the next part of this walkthrough.
