Zelda Fan Fiction > Bring My Soldier Bak to Me
Author's Notes: It's...kind of free-verse, kind of not...^_^;
A princess knelt
Upon her knees
Whispering…a silent prayer, a silent plea
Bring my soldier back to me…
Let me feel his powerful hands…
Holding me so close
Yet taking me to far off lands
Let me rest my head to his chest
So powerful and battle-worn
To his soft green tunic
So inviting and warm
Let me feel his loving arms
Slowly begin to embrace me
Let me feel gentle fingers
Slowly beginning to take me
Let my mind leave this land
As he carefully strokes me with tender hands
I would look up at his sapphire eyes
Closed in deep content, staring at the skies
Let me feel him hold me
Rocking me slowly back and forth
To the rhythm of the breeze
As calmly as the seas
Let me feel his warm breath
As it licks at my cheek
So strong and so sturdy his voice would be
Yet so gentle and so soft as he spoke to me
“Zelda....I love you…”
I would shiver at his words
As he lifted my face to his
I would barely whisper, “I love you, too…”
Passionate eyes would gaze down upon me
A smile forming upon his face
Loving fingers would brush over my lips
An expectant mouth, hungrily waiting…
I would barely be able to breathe
As he drew nearer
Years of hidden passion
Year of intense love…about to be released
Let me feel the sudden electricity
As his lips press to mine
That passion that was so sublime
That moment that seemed to have stopped time
A thousand years of wishes coming true
The soldier slowly deepening the kiss
His tongue gently sliding through
Sending me to a world of bliss
I would lose myself
Feeling myself begin to softly moan
His exploration would be deep and thorough
His tongue not ignoring a single little furrow
Let me feel myself falling weak
Supported only by his powerful hold
He would continue to kiss me
Grasping the back of my head with fingers so nimble and bold
The princess shivered through her tears
Opening her eyes to the cool sunset
Reality began returning to her.
Cold, hard reality…
She could no longer feel him warm against her
No longer feel his tender embrace
His warm breath, his loving words,
His passionate kiss and his kindly face…
For he was gone
The young soldier had left this world long ago
And she wanted nothing more
Than to see him come knocking on her door
A princess knelt
Upon her knees
Whispering…a silent prayer, a silent plea
Bring my soldier back to me…
