Slingshot – This item is acquired in the first dungeon, The Great Deku Tree.

Deku Stick – Kill a Deku Baba and it will drop this stick.

Deku Nut – You get these from grass, enemies, rocks, etc.

Ocarinas
Fairy Ocarina – Saria gives the Fairy Ocarina to you whenever you leave Kokiri Forest after the Deku Tree tells you to visit Hyrule Castle.

Ocarina of Time – Hyrule Field – After you get all three spiritual stones, head to Hyrule Castle. Upon getting near the draw bridge, you will receive a cut scene. During the scene, Princess Zelda throws the ocarina into the water near the draw bridge. After the scene, just dive into the water and pick it up.

Boomerang – Inside Lord Jabu Jabu – 1F – If you follow the path on this floor, you will come to sort of a crossroads. Take the right path way and you will have use both yours and Ruto's weight to press down the switch. Once inside the room, you will find three enemies. To kill them, just run up to them and they will start flying. Shoot them your slingshot immediately. Then follow them around until get another shot. After 2 hits, they will die. Kill all three enemies and a chest will appear containing the boomerang.

Bombchu – Hyrule Market – (During the day time) enter the bombchu alley. Talk the lady for a chance to play a bombchu mini-game. It costs 30 rupees per game. To win, just send a bombchu into the center of the target three times before you run out of bombchu's. After winning, you will receive a bombchu as a prize.

Fairy Bow – Forest Temple – 2F – Make your way to the room at the most northern part of the map. You should come down a few flights of stairs with picture frames on the walls. When you go through the door at the bottom of the stairs, you will have to fight a stalfos. After killing it, a platform will drop down and two more will appear. Kill them quickly or else one will come back. After killing them a chest will appear containing the Fairy Bow.

Megaton Hammer – Fire Temple – 5F – make your way to the left room on the 5F map and you will notice a narrow path leading up to a giant chest surrounded by fire. Jump on the switch near the path and the fire will disappear. Take the path up in time and you will be able to open the chest. It contains the Megaton Hammer.

Boots
Kokiri Boots – You receive these when you start the game.

Iron Boots – You receive this after at the end of the Ice Cavern when you beat the wolf.

Hover Boots – Shadow Temple – B1 – Make your way to a room almost straight ahead of the entrance. You will come to a dead end that has a lot of hands sticking out of the ground. Let one of them grab you head. Now push A and B repeatedly to get free. You notice a monster will bend over and try to bite you. Hit it with the sword when it gets close. Repeat this several times and when the monster is defeated, a giant chest will appear containing the Hover Boots. They let you hover over in the air for a few seconds when you fall of the edge of something.

Hookshot – Kakariko Graveyard – (From the entrance) follow the rock path up and to the left. The first gravestone at the corner near the wall will have flowers in front of it. Pull the gravestone back to reveal a secret pathway. Upon entering the pathway, you will find the grave keeper from the past. He will ask you to follow him. Just keep up with him and dodge all his fire and any rupees lying around. If you are able to keep up with him, he will reward you with the hookshot.

Longshot – After defeating Dark Link, go into the next room. Open the chest and you will get the longshot.

Lens of Truth – Within the Well – B1 – (As a kid) go all the way to the back pathway. In the center of it will be a Triforce symbol. Play Zelda's Lullaby and the water will drain. Go back to the area to the bottom of the map where you ran through the wall as you entered the dungeon. The water will be gone. Jump down and crawl through the small tunnel. In the next room, climb up the vines and continue forward. You will come to a dead end that has a lot of hands sticking out of the ground. Let one of them grab you head. Now push A and B repeatedly to get free. You notice a monster will bend over and try to bite you. Hit it with the sword when it gets close. Repeat this several times and when the monster is defeated, a giant chest will appear containing the Lens of Truth. It lets you look through certain objects and also see objects that are invisible.

Magic
The following magic is acquire from Great Fairy Fountains. Please consult our Great Fairy Fountain guide for further details.

Din's Fire –Hyrule Castle Ground – (From Hyrule Market) you will see a ladder. Climb up the ladder and run to the bridge. Jump or climb down the bridge. Continue up the path and you will see a sign. Take the right pathway and you will see a boulder. Blow up the boulder and enter a fairy fountain. Stand on the pedestal and play Zelda's Lullaby and a fairy will appear and teach you this magic.

Farore's Wind – Zora's Fountain – (As a kid) go to the southeast of the map and you will find two boulders. Place a bomb near the silver one to open an entrance to a Great Fairy fountain. Stand on the pedestal and play Zelda's Lullaby. A fairy will appear and teach you this magic.

Nayru's Love – Desert Colossus – Near the entrance is two lone trees with a bombable wall between them. Blow it up using a bomb. Go into the fountain and stand of the pedestal. Play Zelda's Lullaby and a great fairy will appear and teach you this magic. This spell blocks all damage from being hit for 30 seconds.

Arrows
Fire Arrows – Lake Hylia – Use the Serenade of Water to warp to the lake. Near the pedestal is a stone marker. The inscription reads, “When water fills the lake, shoot for the morning light.” Now use the Sun's Song to make it morning. While standing on the marker, shoot and arrow over a lone island towards the sun. The fire arrows will fall on to the lone island. Swim over and grab them.

Light Arrows – Temple of Time – After beating the Spirit Temple, play the Prelude of Light. When you warp into the temple, you will receive a cutscene with Sheik, who will give you the arrows.

Ice Arrow – Gerudo Valley – You receive this after completing the Gerudo Training Grounds.

Bottles
Bottle – (During the day time) go to Lon Lon Ranch and enter the first building. You will see lots of cucco's and a guy sleeping. Talk to the guy and he will ask if you want to play his game. Accept and you will have 30 seconds in order to find three super cucco's. Find them in the time limit and you will get a bottle with Lon Lon Milk in it.

Bottle – This bottle is located in Lake Hylia near a pathway to Zora's Domain. If you go to Zora's Domain and swam into a tunnel under the water, you will come out right in front of this bottle. Swim above it and dive to get it.

Bottle – Kakariko Village – (As a kid) go talk to the lady near the chicken pen. She will ask you to find all of her chickens. Find all 7 of them and you will receive an empty bottle.

Bottle – Hyrule Market – (As an adult) near the entrance is a door. Go inside it and talk to the person. Go to Hyrule Field and use Epona and Bow to catch all ten poes. Use the map below as a reference.
