The following is a The Wind Waker Heart Pieces guide. I will follow the Seachart by starting in section A1 and continuing left to right.
The Wind Waker Heart Pieces Guide
**NOTE: Some Heart Pieces can only be found when you have acquired the Treasure Chart that corresponds with that certain piece. Don't try finding the pieces that you don't have the chart for. You will just waste your time.
A1: Forsaken Fortress
To find this Heart Piece, move the barrels in front of the jail cell to reveal a switch. Step on it, and your treasure awaits.
A2: Star Island
To earn this Heart Piece, defeat the Blue ChuChu's, then bomb the rocks on the island. This will make a hole appear. Hop through here, and defeat the enemies within to win your Heart Piece.
A3: Northern Fairy Island - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
A4: Gale Isle - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
A5: Crescent Moon Island
This Piece of Heart can only be found with the Treasure Chart from Dragon Roost Cavern (Section B6 on your Seachart). It's right off the coast of the island, underneath the sea. Use your crane to get it.
A6: Seven-Star Isles
Look for the gulls circling in the air here. Once you sail towards it, a Big Octo will emerge from the sea. Defeat this and use your crane to grab your prize.
A7: Overlook Isalnd - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
B1: Four-Eye Reef - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
B2: Mother and Child Isles - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
B3: Spectacle Island
There is a mini-game on this island where you get to shoot a canon at boats. The Piece of Heart will be one of the three prizes you can win.
B4: Windfall Island
There are 9 Heart Pieces on this Island! Listed below is how to get each of them:
Heart Piece 1
Once you have the Deluxe Picto Box, talk to the lady in the orange dress. She will ask you to take her picture, and then show it to the blonde haired man. Do this, and let two days pass (Or use the Song of Passing), and find them in the cafe to receive your reward.
Heart Piece 2
There is a shop across from Lenzo's where you can play a mini-game. After your first win, you'll receive a Heart Piece.
Heart Piece 3
To get this piece of heart you must complete Zunari's Trading quest.
Heart Piece 4
Place a flower or a flag in all the crown shaped mounts around the island, then talk to the man on the bench near all the shops to earn this Heart Piece.
Heart Piece 5
If you go to the Auction House at night, there will be a Piece of Heart up for sale. Bid 10% higher than the rest towards the end of the auction to get the best results.
Heart Piece 6
For this Piece of Heart, go to the second floor of the Auction House and talk to Maggie (The red-headed child who fell in love with a Moblin). She will ask you to mail a letter for her. Mail it, then go back to the Auction House to see the Postman get harassed for bringing the letter from the Moblin. Meet the postman in the cafe to receive the letter, and take it to Maggie to earn your Piece of Heart.
Heart Piece 7
Make the wind blow North with the Wind's Requiem. After this climb up the lighthouse and step on the switch. When night falls, hop into the Ferris Wheel and use a Fire Arrow to ignite the light in the lighthouse. This will reveal the Heart Piece on a small rock off the coast of the island. Use the Deku Leaf to reach it.
Heart Piece 8
After you've lit the lighthouse, talk to the man outside of Salvatore's shop to receive this Heart Piece.
Heart Piece 9
Sometime after you have the Picto Box, you can play a game of hide-and-seek with the young boys of the town. If you can find them all in the time limit, they will give you a Heart Piece.
B5: Pawprint Isle
There are 2 Heart Pieces on this Island! Listed below is how to get each of them:
Heart Piece 1
Climb inside the dome on this island and use a bomb to clear the boulder from the path. The Heart Piece will be in one of the chests inside.
Heart Piece 2
You need one of the Treasure Charts from the Tower of the Gods (Section D5) to find this Piece of Heart. Use your crane to pull it from the depths of the Sea.
B6 Dragon Roost Island
There are 2 Heart Pieces on this Island! Listed below is how to get each of them:
Heart Piece 1
If you give the lovesick Rito (Second floor of Rito village) 20 Golden Feathers, his girlfriend will send you a Piece of Heart in the mail.
Heart Piece 2
Play the letter-toss mini-game in Rito Village and score more than 25. The postmaster will be so impressed that he'll ask you to do it again for his new assistant. If you can do it again, the assistant will give you a letter. Mail this out, and you'll receive a Piece of Heart in return.
B7: Flight Control Platform
To earn the Heart Piece here, make sure you have the extended magic meter. Play the flying game for 10 rupees, and use the Deku Leaf to glide across the Sea, using the updrafts along the way. If you can reach the banner, you will win this Heart Piece
C1: Western Fairy Island - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
C2: Rock Spire Isle
There are 3 Heart Pieces on this Island! Listed below is how to get each of them:
Heart Piece 1
You can purchase the Piece of Heart from Beedle's Specialty Ship in this section for the "low" price of 950 rupees.
Heart Piece 2
You will encounter two bomber ships. Defeat these and use your crane where they sink to pull up the Heart Piece.
Heart Piece 3
The last heart in this section can be found from a Treasure Chart found on Windfall Island (Section B4).
C3: Tingle Island
Look for the gulls circling in the air here. Once you sail towards it, a Big Octo will emerge from the sea. Defeat this and use your crane to grab your prize.

D2: Greatfish Isle
Climb to the top of the nearby rocks and use the Wind's Requiem to change the direction of the wind to NW. Use the Deku Leaf to glide to the cave atop Greatfish Isle. In here you will find your Heart Piece.
D3: Cyclops Reef - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
D4: Six-Eye Reef
Defeat all of the enemies inside the submarine in this section to receive this Heart Piece.
D5: Tower of the Gods - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
D6: Eastern Triangle Island - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
D7: Thorned Fairy Island
One of the Treasure Charts found in the Wind Temple (Section A4) will aid you in finding this Piece of Heart.
E1: Needle Rock Isle
On this island use a Hyoi Pear to transform into a gull. As the gull fly to the top of the spire to hit the switch. The flames around the Heart Piece will be extinguished.
E2: Islet of Steel - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
E3: Stone Watcher Island
Climb to the top of this island to see the direction the old man is pointing. Sail to the Pirate Outpost, and conquer all the enemies, and drop bombs off the platforms to destroy the canons. Your reward will be this Heart Piece.
E4: Southern Triangle Island - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
E5: Private Oasis - Sorry guys, No Heart Pieces here!
E6: Bomb Island
There are 2 Heart Pieces on this Island! Listed below is how to get each of them:
Heart Piece 1
Climb to the top of the island and bomb the large boulder. Go down the new opening. First attack the Magtail until it curls into a ball, then place him on the switch. Advance through to the next room, and attack the Magtails in the same fashion. Throw each of these into the holes, and you will be rewarded with the Heart Piece.
Heart Piece 2
One of the Treasure Charts found in the Earth Temple (Section G3) will aid you in finding this Piece of Heart.

F1: Diamond Steppe Island
One of the Treasure Charts found on Windfall Island (Section B4) will aid you in finding this Piece of Heart.

F4: Southern Fairy Island
You need to purchase the Treasure Chart on Beedle's Specialty Ship (Section C2) for 900 rupees to find this Piece of Heart.

Heart Piece 1
After you've been to the Forbidden Forest, the Chief of the Rito will send you a Heart Piece in the mail!
Heart Piece 2
For this Heart Piece you must sprinkle Forest Water on all 8 withering Deku Sprouts across the Sea.
Heart Piece 3
One of the Treasure Charts found in the Tower of the Gods (Section D5) will aid you in finding this Piece of Heart.

G2: Outset Island
There are 3 Heart Pieces on this Island! Listed below is how to get each of them:
Heart Piece 1
Go to Orca's to train with your sword. If you can strike him 500 times before he hits you 3 times, he will reward you with a Heart Piece.
Heart Piece 2
After you have earned the Power Bracelets, pick up the black pig and carry him to the other side of the island (Over the bridge) to the black soil. Spread around some All-Purpose Bait, and he will dig link up a shiny new Heart Piece.
Heart Piece 3
For this Heart Piece, you really have to work. Use the Wind's Requiem to make the wind go West and climb to the top of Outset Island. Don't cross the bridge into the forest, rather jump off the cliff with the Deku Leaf to float to the other side. Lift the boulder here to reveal the Savage Labyrinth. Fight the enemies on all 50 floors to receive this much deserved Piece of Heart.
G3: Headstone Island
Use a Hyoi Pear to take control of a gull and fly to the top of this island to receive your prize.

G5: Angular Isles

Heart Piece 1
Climb to the top of the taller island by pushing and pulling the blocks with the symbols on them. Here you will find the Heart Piece.
