Normal Quest
How To Unlock:
After you have defeated Phantom Ganon in the Forest Temple, head back to the Temple of Time for a cutscene with Sheik. Near the end of the cutscene, Sheik will tell you that you can relive battles in your dreams. You now have Boss Challenge Mode.
How To Activate:
Go to Link's house and you will be able to talk to his bed. Select Relive a Battle to begin Boss Challenge Mode. You will be given a list of all the bosses you have defeated to challenge to a fight. Choose which one you want to fight and the battle will begin.

Please refer to our Boss Guide for detailed strategies on defeating each boss. Please note that the following is for the Normal Quest only.

Gohma - Inside the Deku Tree
|
|
You only have the following:
- 3 Heart Containers
- Kokiri Sword
- Deku Shield
- Kokiri Tunic
- Deku Seed Bag
- Fairy Slingshot w/ 30 seeds
|
Fight Summary:
Use the slingshot to hit the eye when it turns red. Attack the stunned creature with the sword. Repeat
|
|
King Dodongo - Dodongo's Cavern
|
|
You only have the following:
- 4 Heart Containers
- Kokiri Sword
- Deku Shield
- Kokiri Tunic
- Big Bomb Bag
- Goron's Bracelet
- 20 Bombs
- 1 Bottle of Lon Lon Milk
|
Fight Summary:
Toss a bomb into his mouth when it opens. Attack the stunned creature with the sword. Run halfway around in the opposite direction. Repeat.

|
Barinade - Inside Lord Jabu Jabu
|
|
You only have the following:
- 5 Heart Containers
- Kokiri Sword
- Deku Shield
- Kokiri Tunic
- Boomerang
- 1 Bottle of Lon Lon Milk
|
Fight Summary:
Use the Boomerang to detach the red, green, and blue tongues. Use it to stun the creature afterwards and attack it with the sword. Repeat
|
|
Phantom Ganon - Forest Temple
|
|
You only have the following:
- 6 Heart Containers
- Master Sword
- Hylian Shield
- Kokiri Tunic
- Quiver
- Fairy Bow w/ 30 arrows
- Hookshot
- 1 Red Potion
|
Fight Summary:
Use the Fairy Bow to shoot Phantom Ganon as he leaps from the pictures. Repeat.
Reflect his energy balls back and attack with your sword when he gets hit. Repeat.

Volvagia - Fire Temple
|
|
You only have the following:
- 7 Heart Containers
- Master Sword
- Hylian Shield
- Goron's Tunic
- Quiver
- Fairy Bow w/ 30 arrows
- Megaton Hammer
- 1 Red Potion
|
Fight Summary:
Use the Megaton Hammer to hit its head when it appears. Attack the head with the sword when it lowers. Repeat
|

Morpha - Water Temple
|
|
You only have the following:
- 8 Heart Containers
- Master Sword
- Hylian Shield
- Zora's Tunic
- Quiver
- Fairy Bow w/ 30 arrows
- Longshot
- 1 Red Potion
|
Fight Summary:
Use the Longshot to draw the nucleus to you. Attack it with your sword. Repeat
|
|
Bongo Bongo - Shadow Temple
|
|
You only have the following:
- 9 Heart Containers
- Full Double Magic Meter
- Master Sword
- Hylian Shield
- Kokiri Tunic
- Quiver
- Iron Boots
- Hover Boots
- Longshot
- Fairy Bow w/ 30 arrows
- Lens of Truth
- 1 Blue Potion

Fight Summary:
Attack the hands and use the Lens of Truth to see the body when it charges. Shoot the eye with an arrow and attack it with the sword once stunned. Repeat
|
|
Twinrova - Spirit Temple
|
|
You have only the following:
- 10 Heart Containers
- Master Sword
- Mirror Shield
- Kokiri Tunic
- Quiver
- Fairy Bow w/ 30 arrows
- 1 Red Potion
|
Fight Summary:
Use the Mirror Shield to reflect the attacks at the opposite witch. After they join, absorb three of the same type attack to reflect it back. Attack with your sword and repeat.
|
Ganondorf does not appear in boss challenge mode.

Gauntlet
|

Requirements:
How to Unlock:
- Beat all bosses up to Twinrova in Boss Challenge mode
|
Fight Summary:
The challenge is comprised of fighting all bosses from the game in a row possibly without recovery items.
|
|
Details:
Link starts out with 5 hearts and a full double magic meter. After each fight, a big chest and a small chest will appear. Open one to receive various items such as: heart containers, bombs, longshot, and other stuff that will prove helpful. You start the next battle as soon as you head through the portal. Also, you will not receive any health back and the amount of heart containers you have will remain unchanged. *Note* More details to come soon.
Hints:
When choosing a chest after each fight, the small chests are usually the most helpful. The big chests give Deku nuts (10x) a lot of the time.
